Publicidad and sponsorship policy

Effective 5 October 2026. This policy explains how Navlin separates advertising, sponsorship, affiliate relationships, and editorial work. It is designed for readers who deserve to understand who paid for a message. It applies to arrangements made from Indonesia or for Indonesian audiences.

1. Clear labelling

Paid placements are labelled advertising, sponsored, or partner content near the message. Labels use plain language and remain visible on mobile. Advertising cannot be disguised as an independent article. A label is not an endorsement.

2. Editorial independence

Advertisers cannot select conclusions, remove safety context, or approve unrelated articles. Editors retain the right to decline a claim. Commercial pressure does not change our evidence standard. The editor responsible for a story may reject a conflict.

3. Restricted claims

We do not publish claims that promise guaranteed health results, cures, or universal transformation. We reject misleading before-and-after presentations and unsupported medical language. Product information must be accurate and appropriately qualified. Readers should verify claims with professionals.

4. Health products

Any health, supplement, wearable, or training product must be reviewed for lawful presentation. A product may not be presented as a substitute for care. We do not imply that a sponsor’s product is necessary for ordinary movement. Evidence and limitations must remain visible.

5. Affiliates

When Navlin may earn a commission from a link, the relationship is disclosed before or near the link. Commission does not alter price claims or editorial ranking. Links are selected for relevance and reader utility. We remove links that become misleading or unavailable.

6. Data and targeting

Navlin does not sell reader contact information to advertisers. Behavioural advertising cookies are not part of ordinary reading. Optional analytics are addressed in the cookie policy. Partners may not use reader enquiries for unrelated marketing.

7. Review and records

Commercial arrangements are reviewed before publication and retained for 24 months after completion. We record the payer, scope, dates, and disclosure wording. Editors may request substantiation. A missing disclosure is treated as a correction issue.

8. Complaints

Readers may report an unclear label or unsupported claim to Jalan Sudirman No. 18, Senayan, South Jakarta 12190, Indonesia or +62 21 7123 8945. Include the page and concern. We aim to acknowledge the message within five working days. We may pause a placement during review.

9. Third parties

External advertising systems may have their own policies and technology. We limit integrations and review their displayed categories where possible. Their privacy practices are not adopted automatically by Navlin. The privacy and cookies pages explain our handling.

10. Change log

This version was issued 5 October 2026 and replaces the review of 12 August 2026. Future material changes will receive a new effective date. We will not silently convert editorial pages into paid content. Questions about independence are welcome.

Review, disclosure, and reader choice

Before a paid placement is accepted, Navlin records the advertiser or sponsor, the proposed format, the audience, the subject, and the person responsible for approval. The review considers whether the message can be stated accurately without implying a personal outcome. A commercial relationship does not allow a partner to change an unrelated article or remove relevant context. The arrangement may be declined where the subject cannot be presented responsibly.

Labels are placed close to the content they describe and remain readable on small screens. A sponsored article is not presented as an ordinary independent article, and affiliate links are identified near the relevant recommendation or link group. A label explains the commercial relationship; it does not mean that Navlin has independently verified every statement made by an advertiser. Readers should distinguish paid material from the editorial journal and from public information supplied by an outside organisation.

We do not publish claims promising a medical outcome, universal transformation, or certainty for every reader. Product descriptions must identify relevant limitations, conditions, pricing context, availability, and the responsible provider where those details matter. Before-and-after imagery, testimonials, or personal stories cannot be used to imply a typical result without reliable context, and fabricated reviews are not acceptable. Any safety statement must remain visible rather than being hidden in a small-print link.

For health, nutrition, wearable, or training products, Navlin may request source material, instructions, warnings, regulatory information, and evidence supporting the wording proposed. A product’s presence on the site does not make it necessary for ordinary movement and does not replace advice from a qualified professional. If an advertiser cannot support a claim or changes the product materially, the placement may be paused or removed. Readers should verify current product information with the provider.

Affiliate relationships are reviewed periodically because links, prices, terms, and availability can change. A commission, where one exists, does not determine an article’s ranking or the order of editorial topics. Links may be removed when a destination becomes unavailable, misleading, insecure, or inconsistent with this policy. Navlin may receive no payment from some links, and the absence of a commission does not mean that an external site has been endorsed.

Commercial measurement should be limited to the purpose disclosed to the reader. Navlin does not use contact correspondence to build an advertising audience and does not ask sponsors to identify people by health condition. Optional analytics or advertising technologies require an appropriate notice and choice before deployment. Providers may process limited information outside Indonesia under contractual, security, and data-minimisation safeguards.

Readers may report a labelling concern, unsupported claim, broken disclosure, or conflict to Navlin at Jalan Sudirman No. 18, Senayan, South Jakarta 12190, Indonesia, or +62 21 7123 8945. We normally acknowledge a report within 7 calendar days and aim to complete an initial review within 30 calendar days. This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026; material changes will carry a new effective date and a concise note describing the affected commercial practice.

This policy applies to display placements. Navlin may use generative AI for limited copy-editing or layout assistance, but human editors review all commercial disclosures and advertiser claims before publication. AI output is never treated as evidence or an advertiser verification., sponsored articles, affiliate references, event notices, newsletter placements, partnership pages, and other paid or commercially connected formats that Navlin may publish. It does not convert ordinary editorial coverage into advertising merely because a subject is commercially available. The format, relationship, audience, and responsible advertiser should be recorded before publication. A reader should be able to identify the commercial context without searching through a separate policy page.

Advertisers may be asked to provide the legal business name, contact route, product information, evidence for material claims, applicable warnings, and the territories in which an offer is available. Navlin may request revisions where a statement is ambiguous, unsupported, or likely to be misunderstood by a reasonable reader. A price, feature, or availability statement should include a date or source when it can change. The advertiser remains responsible for the accuracy of information it supplies, while Navlin remains responsible for the presentation and disclosure of the placement.

Paid content does not receive a hidden ranking advantage in the editorial journal. Sponsored material is labelled near its title or opening, and affiliate links are identified near the relevant link or recommendation. A label remains present when content is shared, printed, or viewed on a small screen where practical. If a disclosure becomes inaccurate because the relationship changes, Navlin may update, pause, or remove the placement.

Commercial records may include the advertiser, campaign dates, approval notes, disclosure wording, invoices, and relevant source material. These records are normally kept for 24 months after the placement ends, unless a longer period is required for accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance. Campaign performance reports should use aggregated or limited information and should not require a reader’s health condition or private correspondence. Providers may process limited technical information under their own documented safeguards.

Readers may report an unclear label, unsupported statement, broken affiliate disclosure, or conflict of interest. Navlin normally acknowledges a report within 7 calendar days and aims to complete an initial review within 30 calendar days. A report may result in a wording correction, added context, temporary pause, or removal; the outcome depends on the evidence and the nature of the concern. This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026 after an earlier review on 15 May 2026, and material changes will show a new effective date.

Questions can be sent to Navlin, Jalan Sudirman No. 18, Senayan, South Jakarta 12190, Indonesia, or by phone at +62 21 7123 8945. A commercial contact should not send passwords, identity documents, or unnecessary personal information through an ordinary message. The reader desk may ask for the relevant page address, campaign label, and a concise description of the issue so that the review can be directed to the correct record.
