Effective 5 October 2026. Navlin publishes independent-style information about movement and athletic physiology for men over 35. Our work is written for clarity, not pressure. We distinguish editorial judgement, evidence, commercial relationships, and personal medical care.

1. Mission

We help readers ask better questions about endurance, strength, recovery, and function. We prefer useful context to dramatic claims. We write for a broad adult audience while acknowledging variation. The site is not a clinic or coaching service.

2. Commissioning

Editors define an article’s reader, scope, and intended usefulness before drafting. Contributors receive a brief and a request to disclose relevant expertise or conflicts. Commissioning does not guarantee publication. We may decline material that is unsafe or promotional.

3. Evidence review

Writers review relevant current sources and explain important limits. We consider study population, comparison, duration, outcomes, and uncertainty. A single paper does not settle a complex question. Where evidence is mixed, the article says so.

4. Health safety

Articles avoid diagnosis and guaranteed outcomes. Potential warning signs are framed conservatively and directed toward qualified care. We do not encourage readers to stop medication or ignore symptoms. Safety review can delay publication where necessary.

5. Corrections

Readers may report factual, attribution, accessibility, or clarity concerns. Editors investigate the original source and the article history. Substantive corrections are identified with a date. Minor typographical fixes may not receive a separate notice.

6. Conflicts

Authors disclose employment, ownership, funding, or relationships that could affect a topic. Editors assess whether a conflict can be managed through disclosure or whether the contribution should not proceed. Sponsored influence cannot purchase an editorial conclusion. We keep disclosure records for 24 months.

7. Advertising

Advertising is separated from article design and clearly labelled. Advertisers do not approve editorial copy. We do not accept claims that conflict with the health boundaries in our disclaimer. Commercial pages are governed by the publicidad policy.

8. Images

Images should represent the subject honestly and carry descriptive alternative text. We avoid manipulative before-and-after framing and unverified clinical implications. Licensed or commissioned imagery is recorded where relevant. Image changes are reviewed for meaning.

9. Privacy and contributors

We minimise personal information in interviews and obtain permission for identifiable quotations. Contributors can request correction of factual personal details. Sensitive health information is not required for participation. The privacy policy governs stored correspondence.

10. Updates and oversight

The policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026, following the 12 August 2026 review. Editors revisit standards when evidence, law, or site features change. Readers can contact Jalan Sudirman No. 18, Senayan, South Jakarta 12190, Indonesia. Oversight decisions are documented internally.

Working standards in practice

Navlin may use generative artificial intelligence tools for limited drafting support, transcription assistance, translation checks, or headline alternatives. Human editors verify sources, revise wording, check safety and accessibility, and approve every published item. AI output is not treated as a source, and confidential reader correspondence is not entered into public-generation prompts.

Each assignment begins with a defined question, intended reader, scope, and source plan. Writers are expected to separate observation from interpretation and to identify when a statement is a general explanation rather than a conclusion about an individual. Drafts are checked for unsupported certainty, unexplained technical terms, and language that could be read as a promise. A useful article should leave room for variation.

Evidence review considers the date, population, method, comparison, duration, outcome, and limitations of a source. Where a source is preliminary, indirect, or relevant only to a narrow group, that context is retained in the article. Editors may consult public guidance, academic publications, professional organisations, and original research. A citation is not treated as a substitute for reading the source or describing its limits.

Conflicts are assessed before publication and again when a story changes substantially. A contributor may be asked to add a disclosure, change the assignment, provide an independent review, or step away from a decision. Payment for writing does not itself determine the editorial outcome. Sponsored or affiliate material is handled under the separate publicidad and sponsorship policy.

Correction requests are normally acknowledged within 7 calendar days. Editors aim to complete a factual review within 30 calendar days, although source verification can take longer when an issue is complex. A substantive correction identifies what changed and the date of the change; a clarification may explain wording without altering the underlying fact. We do not remove a sound conclusion merely because it is inconvenient, but we will correct an error when the evidence supports doing so.

Health and safety review focuses on avoiding diagnosis, unsupported outcomes, unsafe simplification, and instructions that could be mistaken for personal care. A story may be paused while an editor checks a warning, source, image caption, or commercial connection. The final text should point readers toward qualified care when a personal question cannot responsibly be answered in general terms. Navlin does not use fabricated reader stories or invented professional endorsements.

Our version record is maintained through the page’s effective date and visible correction notes. This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026. A material update will state the new date and the broad area affected, such as evidence review, conflicts, corrections, or commercial disclosure. Questions may be sent to Navlin, Jalan Sudirman No. 18, Senayan, South Jakarta 12190, Indonesia, or +62 21 7123 8945.

This policy covers commissioned articles, desk research, interviews, captions, resource summaries, corrections, and commercial separation. It applies to staff, freelance contributors, guest specialists, editors, and contractors who prepare or review public material for Navlin. It does not require every article to use the same format; a short glossary entry and a long research note may have different source needs. The consistent requirement is that the reader can understand the scope and level of confidence.

Sources are recorded with enough detail for an editor to locate them again, including author or organisation, title, publication date, link, and the relevant passage where practical. Older sources may remain useful for historical context, but their age is identified when it affects interpretation. Anonymous tips can begin an enquiry but are not treated as sufficient support for a material factual claim without independent verification. Personal experience is labelled as experience rather than presented as general evidence.

Corrections are assessed for significance, accuracy, reader impact, and whether a change affects a linked page or image caption. A spelling change may be made silently when it does not change meaning, while a factual correction should include a date or note that allows the change to be understood. A request from a commercial party is assessed by the same editorial standard as a request from a reader. Navlin does not accept payment in exchange for changing a conclusion.

Contributors should disclose financial, professional, family, or organisational relationships that could reasonably affect a topic. An editor may request a second review or a different contributor when separation is needed. Personal information gathered during interviews is used only for the agreed editorial purpose and is not published simply because it was disclosed privately. Sensitive details are minimised, anonymised, or omitted when they are not necessary to the story.

This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026, with the previous review recorded on 15 May 2026. The next review will consider correction requests, source quality, accessibility feedback, and any new commercial formats. Material revisions will carry a dated note describing the broad change rather than rewriting the history of earlier versions. Questions may be sent to Navlin, Jalan Sudirman No. 18, Senayan, South Jakarta 12190, Indonesia, or +62 21 7123 8945.
